As most of my blogpals were aware, My Prince came for a visit in September. I was informed a couple of months before but the excitement was coupled with apprehension because of my hectic schedule at work especially with the onset of the October 25, 2010 Synchronized Barangay and SK Elections.
Fortunately, I got the approval of the Boss to take a few weeks of leave of absence. 
The ultimate meeting at the airport was the most anticipated for 43 months of our long distance relationship. Looking back, we would usually talk and tease each other of how it would be like face-to-face. It brought some tinge of excitement everytime we talk about it.
A few hours after he boarded the plane, my friends kept asking me if I was feeling nervous and I kept saying NO. Well, I wasn’t not until his plane touched down and we were just waiting for him to appear where we could see him from the waiting area.
He was one of the few passengers who came out last. I saw and recognized him immediately from afar. I was waving and smiling at him and I saw him smiling back at me. He looked even more strikingly handsome in person!
But it’s not only his looks that mattered most. What’s struck me most is the photo finish, so to speak, how he is in person compared to what I have always known him as from our long distance communication.
In the flesh, he is amazingly gentle, cool, calm, mild-mannered, soft-spoken, sweet, and kind! He truly personifies a gentleman and though he’s a man of few words he is more than words can describe. LOL! I did not suffer stage fright and I did not have any inhibitions at all. It was like we’ve known each other for a long, long time.
Unfortunately, our camerawoman failed to capture the moment when we finally we’re in each others’ arms. It was the moment when I felt the world stopped spinning and there were only us…

thanks for the link Len… pastilan, september was the busiest month for me jud and look what i’ve missed…
as i was reading your post, i also feel like i was the one who wrote it, hahaha….what a similar experience we’ve both had. I can tell gyud.. from the feelings while waiting at the airport and the scene na he came out last and the first hug, oh my gawddddddd!!!! super dejavu! :))
