Losing Weight the Natural Way!

Sometimes my monotonous routine everyday keeps me boring. But most times, I am not because I always keep myself busy. Blogging is my only form of hobby. When I am not at work, I am blogging. When I am not at church, I am blogging. So you see, I am married to my blogs, LOL!
Now talking about its downsides… I would just like to eat everytime I am infront of my computer and I haven’t taken a good exercise in years. I have really gone idle which made my health in deterioration, Taking up a diet pill haven’t crossed my mind as of yet. I want to lose extra pounds via the natural way.
Wish me luck, guys!

Can I Hold My Appetite?

My day is fully packed. After church today, I am set to go to the mall to do the grocery shopping for my brother’s birthday on Tuesday. And as usual, I am doing it in my lonesome. It is so hard to do it without any company. I have no choice. My brother’s can not go with me for they have a practice with the band and my mother is doing the laundry. I need to do it early so I could go home early.
For my brother’s birthday on Tuesday, I can now again imagine myself drooling at some foods to be laid down on the table, haha! I haven’t even accomplished yet my plan of doing that diet pill reviews. And here I am now thinking about foods again, hahaha!
I just hope I will be determined and disciplined enough not to be tempted to eat more than what is necessary. It’s very important to me that I can control and hold my appetite ;-)

Those Were the Days!

I made a bold and gutsy move when I took a short-term course in Medical Transcription three years ago. You see, I hated everything that has got to do with Science and numbers. All of them looked and sounded too alien to me! I never thought I will make it in the class. But to my surprise, I found the subjects that were taught to us very appealing. I began to like the course.
I attended my classes after work, 6-10PM, Mondays to Fridays. You can just imagine how physically and mentally draining it was! In my Pathophysiology classes,  Mesothelioma treatment was discussed. It was the first time I’ve had an encounter with the disease. The physician-lecturer that we’ve got at the time was very young and she looked very refreshing. Aside from her being so knowledgable on the subject, I always would love to look at her lovely face. Now, don’t mistake me for a tomboy, hahaha! I was just amazed on how such a very young and lovely creature could become such an expert on the field of her choice.
I believe nothing is impossible if one’s heart is at it.  I wasn’t able to practice what I’ve learned in the short duration of my study as a Medical Transcriptionist. I’ve paid $543 more or less for the tuition but everything were all for naught because I wasn’t able to make good use of it. I was able to hone my speed in typing and my listening skills though. Listening to different doctors with different accents made life too difficult for me but I was able to learn when I had my on-the-job training.
Well, those were the days. I coudn’t help but remember the good old days.

Spending the Summer at Home

The two kids of our family friend are frequently coming over the house. Since it’s summer time and they have no classes, they usually would spend their entire day sitting in front of the computer playing xbox 360. We don’t usually have kids hanging around the house so we really have a great time seeing the two boys.
My blogger friend Dickie even had the chance of speaking to the two of them via voice chat at Yahoo Messenger. The youngest is eight years old and he was too shy to talk to Dickie because he said his English is very limited. The elder sibling was urging him to just talk to no avail. Leeroi is a little boy who is quite pampered especially in the provision of foods that he wants to eat.
Alec, on the other hand, is way too confident in speaking with Dickie. He has no inhibitions speaking with him and he speaks quite good English. The two kids are often on a fight on who’s turn is it in front of the PC. The two computers available here at home isn’t enough especially when I come home for lunch and in the afternoon right after work. Leeroi wpuld often ask me what time I am going too sleep so that he could sit in front of my PC. Poor little boy!
The next day they stayed at home, they brought along with them their laptop. ;-)
