I won’t let this red- letter day pass without having to dedicate this post to the birthday girl herself, my lovely cousin Ally of In the Eyes of the Beholder and I’m Walking on Sunshine.
I don’t know what it’s like having to celebrate this special occasion away from home and far from the beloved family. Birthdays have always been an occasion where the strong emotional bonds of family and close friends are warmly felt along with the sincere best wishes. It goes beyond the barrier of language in conveying with its true essence.
It must have been very difficult having to celebrate this special occasion in a person’s life especially for my cousin who lives alone and away from her family. But you have my admiration for having the guts and the strength to have spread your wings and you have eventually widened your horizon. I am sure you have grown to be a better person.
On this special day, I can only wish you nothing but the best. May you have a cheerful disposition on this very day and whatever it is that your heart desires may be granted in God’s own perfect time.
Lab yah!

Although I do not know this friend of yours… But from your sharing, yes, for someone who is spending it away from family and being alone, taking on the journey and spreading the wing.. she is indeed a special gal…
Happy birthday to this friend of yours..
