It’s pretty awesome Saturday and I feel compelled to write something for this day before the gusto slips away.
YAY! am now officially 25 Forever!
It’s past three in the morning, Philippine time, yet I am still wide awake. I can’t go to sleep. I feel restless. I can’t seem to fathom the reason for such ambivalence of emotions. Was I too excited for this “milestone” of getting older or it’s just one of those times when I have brain farting moments? Whatever the reasons for such avalanche of emotions, please don’t misconstrue that I dread my birthday. Definitely not. I love celebrating my birthday because it’s a celebration of life. It’s a huge manifestation of God’s loving grace and unending providence. It’s indeed a real blessing to be celebrating yet another birthday despite the chaotic and wicked world that we live in.
I am so much grateful to our Lord God Almighty for giving me another lease of life. I have received a lot of unspeakable gifts and I return all the glory to Him. Despite living a life that’s hardly ever perfect, nor comfortable and luxurious, these unspeakable gifts made my life pretty remarkably awesome.
My unspeakable gifts- my family
I can never requite God’s kindness. I continue to thank Him for giving me strength during the toughest times of my life. I only hold on to His mighty hand for I know I can’t bounce back from any trying moments without Him. I get hurt. I feel the pain when life seems too harsh and hard to handle. I break down like a little kid most of the time.
It is with life’s experiences that I gain maturity. As I age, I obtain better and broader understanding of love’s depth and its meaning as well as higher pain tolerance. To age further is to actually attain better substance. And it’s a wonderful thing!

As I read your post, I can very well feel how much you’ve enjoyed life despite of all the not so perfect things you’ve experienced in the past or during your childhood.
