Clear Up Your Firefox Cookies!

379 views
If you are having problems logging in to your Entrecard account or switching from your other accounts linked to your main EntreCard account, well you are not alone. I have been having the same problem for two days. I thought the problem was with EntreCard’s system. But NO! It’s just our own PC that needs cleaning up. Ivy and I were having the same predicament. When we asked my friend Twerlyn, everything was OK with her and she was doing crazy drops for her 2 blogs without any interruption at all.
We waited for Ivy’s friend to come online to help us resolve our problem because we couldn’t make a single drop not until we could switch accounts and make our dashboard visible! Ivy’s friend was an angel. She told Ivy that we need to clear our cookies up at Firefox. It’s the first time I have heard of the word, haha! Nevertheless, I’ve followed all the instructions and everything went well after that.
If you are having the same problem, just follow the steps below:
  1. Select “Tools”
  2. Select “Options”.
  3. Select “Privacy”.
  4. In Private area click “Clear Now”.
  5. In “Clear Private Data” window put the check mark for “Cookies” and click “Clear Private Data Now”.
  6. Click OK.

Now I am all set to do crazy drops till I drop! ;-)

I just wanted to thank you for posting this useful information. A lot of people aren’t aware of cookies and how many problems they can cause, and they certainly don’t know how to fix the problem….until NOW! Thanks, again. Matt

@ ROSEMARIE:

I’m glad to hear everything is OK now.

@ MATT:

You are most welcome, Matt. I am unaware too of cookies not until I’ve encountered one of the problems caused by it. I was getting desperate for 2 days! Imagine, I can’t switch accounts and there are 5 blogs to which I have been consistently dropping on everyday. You can just imagine the desperation and frustration it has caused me.

I hope people can find this post helpful.

@ TWINKS:

YOu are lucky, Sis you haven’t experienced what we had. A lot of bloggers have been ranting about these. As what Matt have commented, not too many of us know about cookies, caches, and the like, and that’s including me, hehe!

@ LYNN:

I hope everything is OK with your browser now, Lynn.

In the instructions you can find on the forum – you also have some extra instructions;

* Go to Tools/Options/Privacy. Tick the option “Accept cookies from sites”; also tick “Accept third party cookies”. Set “Keep Until” to “they expire”.
* Still on the Privacy tab, click on the Exceptions button. Add the following exceptions (paste the URL and click Allow):

entrecard.com

entrecard.s3.amazonaws.com

Maybe this part is not necessary… but it was added by one of the guys of Entrecard;
