No One Is A Champ Without A Trophy

I read about it somewhere how it was in ancient Greece when the Greeks would place a laurel wreath on the head of the sports champion. Nothing more. That served as the symbol of his athletic achievement.

So simple and straight forward. I wish I could recommend that to the Sports Committee that make us crack our brains to come up with something innovative each year for the Annual Sports Event where I now work.

I had actually hit the dirt and run out of ideas until my cousin spoke to me about the sports trophies her Company paraded to their Staff on the recent sports event.

Boy! was my cousin just in time with her story.

The practice which ancient Greece followed to honour their champions seems like a nice idea to award our sportsman champions. Ancient Greece had a rich history with many great practices.
