I have actually been waiting for my Google Adsense PIN for a couple of months now. That is why I was a little surprised to have received it today before I went to work, just when I least expected it. Google had it posted via Airmail.
Well, I have been long wanting to earn from Google Adsense. I had my ads installed only in October of last year. In that span of time, I earned
Oh man!
You can just calculate for how long I can have my payout which is set at $100!
I know, I know.
I am no SEO (Search Engine Optimization) geek but I was just trying my luck, haha! Nice try, Lainy! 
I have long wanted to learn SEO tricks but I still come out very ignorant on these aspect. All that is clear to me is that a blog that’s earning huge amount from Google Adsense have quite a handful of unique visitors. These blogs are using relevant keywords in their title posts and all other parts of the document such as in URL, headings, tags, etc which keeps them at the top of the search engines.
For SEO enthusiasts, do share your knowledge, pleaseeee… That is so much appreciated
There are so much more that a novice like me have yet to learn, RE: SEO Techniques. The SOCCSKSARGEN group of bloggers are actually planning of coming up of a seminar on Search Engine Optimization. I am very enthusiastic in learning so much!
I know there are still quite a lot of things that I need to learn and everyday is but a learning process. I might be too ignorant in the many aspects of blogging but the eagerness to learn my way through here keeps persisting. My blogging journey may be frustrating and discouraging in a lot of ways but my burning passion to blog more and more keeps me motivated, and that’s why I am still here- blogging my heart out!

I could not make your the cause of your low CTR!!! You may do well tweaking with the Ad – its placement, size, position etc. Hope this helps.

LOL! Sorry I have to laugh because I am not doing any better than you. Waiting to reach the $100 mark. But the good things I appreciate about Google is that it allows check to be issued in my currency and that its exchange rate is very good unlike Paypal, which pays you a much lower exchange rate than the market rate.

Hi Lainy,
it’s been a long time since I actually had a web site. That’s what they were called in the 90′s. now everything is a blog.
But, when I did have a web site and was submitting to search engines I used what’s known as Mega tags..I think.
Anyway these are simply your labels on your blog.
Have you ever noticed that when I have a post I usually just don’t have Music for a label or Photography. I also add any names…for instance on MM i always add YouTube and some times even the band’s name. If I use a quote from someone famous I also add that person’s name to my labels.
Anything or anyone that is weel known that be in your post should also go in your labels for that post.
Then you have a better chance of showing up when someone does a search on Google.
Say you do a post about you and your husband….and you add a video to it …. a love song by John legend or whoever….then at the bottom where you add your labels for that post….also add You Tube and John legend name. Add the separately though. Then you might get a hit or two when people are doing a search for John Legend.
Eventually after a while this should help some with PR and also Unique hits.
I hope that’s a little help. I learned it way back when windows was first released. Gee whiz I use to work in doss if you can believe that.
But, all of the new Java and CGI is foreign to me. I use to write a little code in the old java…but, that was ages ago.
