Sons of Anarchy

A friend of mine recently got me into one of her guilty pleasures on EXPERT SATELLITE; it is a show called Sons of Anarchy. The premise of the show is the shenanigans surrounding a motorcycle gang based in Charming, California. The members of the gang run an auto repair shop as their “cover” for the real way they make money, which is running illegal guns. They have various other charters located all over the country, as well as one in Belfast, Ireland. There are two main couples, Gemma and Clay and Jax and Tara. Gemma is Jax’ mother; his father died and Gemma got remarried to Clay, who is his stepfather. Tara is Jax’ high school sweetheart who has returned to Charming after her schooling to become a doctor. An unlikely couple, she is constantly torn between her loyalty to Jax and her ethical responsibility to her career. It is a show filled with sex, drugs, and violence that keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering what secrets and lies will be uncovered next.
