My Dream Kitchen

I just have to share that I only have a few blogs that I constantly take a peek on for their very informative posts. These are included in my list of no-nonsense blogs and certainly, I have to tell you that the blogger got me hooked. One of these blogs is penned by no less than the TV host and producer, Daphne Oseña-Paez.

Daphne is widely known for her production and hosting of television programs Urban ZoneProudly Filipina, and F. She is a Special Advocate for Children for UNICEF and a brand ambassador for Olay. She also has her own line of jewelry and home furnishings (Wikipedia).

I have learned a lot from her and I truly admire her for her simplicity but at the same time she exudes that rare elegance. As a wife and mother, I find it remarkable that she is hands-on when it comes to raising up her kids (all girls) despite her toxic schedule.

One of the many things that piqued my interest at her blog daphne.ph, is the lovely feature on the contemporary and modern houses from Urban Zone. I would most times gaze in amazement at the beautiful architecture of the edifices and I can’t help but wish I can build my own house like the ones she had featured.

Wishful thinking eh?

Anyways, here’s my dream kitchen from Urban Zone which was built in two houses under one roof. Meaning, there are two houses in one property owned by the Mom and the daughter.

State-of-the-art kitchen

Formal Dining

The kitchen was designed to be open for both living and dining rooms. In its entirety, the architect gave an old-world feel that was a mix of colonial formality and tropical living.
