Prayers For My Aunt

[I] am asking for your prayers for my Aunt’s operation which is due today. I would usually blog about her in the past everytime she celebrates her birthday. One of the articles I wrote about her was published H E R E.

My Mom has always been bothered and can’t stop her tears from falling everytime she thinks of the sister who stood up as her mother when she was still a toddler.

You see, my Aunt is a spinster and she has no family of her own. When she was diagnosed to have myoma and was scheduled for operation, her siblings has been real worried for her. Only after the surgery will the family know if it’s malignant or benign. We all pray that it’s not something cancerous.

My Mother with her Sister

This is the time in my Aunt’s life where she certainly needs the love of the family that she cared for- her siblings, nieces and nephews etc. Most importantly, the prayers will help a lot.

My mother and I will go travel together to see my Aunt and be beside her in this trying time of her life. This is the main reason whyI’ve made some revisions to the Lainy’s Musings 3rd Blogoversary- Gravatar Contest Rules.

Thank you all for sticking.

@ Lainybelle,

For what your Aunt did, she comes from a vanishing generation that tenaciously holds on to family values. Kudos! to Aunt.

May the Good Lord grant her a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.

The presence of family and kin are of great value to Aunt during her ordeal.

Please tell Aunt that Windy says, “she must come back with a bang!”

Lainy,

My prayers are with you. I’m sorry your aunt (and you) have to go through such a difficult time. The stress of something like this is unbearable. I had to go through it with my mom 6 years back – she did have cancer and after the operation has been cancer free since. Her and my dad are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this August! So many people make it through even if the results are positive – medicine has come so far.
