Saturday Shopping

Today was another easy and relaxing Saturday. I had my dentist appointment moved in the afternoon as I wanted to lay around in bed in the morning . It has been dripping wet for several days now.

It was drizzling a little when I went out to see my dentist-  another painful encounter, arrrghhh! But I am left with little choice since I wanted to have my crooked teeth fixed.

Star and I had previously agreed to go shopping together. I haven’t been to the mall for quite a long time. I had been a recluse and I finally decided to just end up the suffering.

With the shopping money that my fiance gave me for our fourth anniversary, I had no choice but to buy something that’s worth every penny. Since I haven’t bought anything for myself with all the bonuses that we got before 2010 ended, I need to spend it for shopping spree as instructed, LOL! I was able to purchase a pair of jeans and one expensive top the week before though. But since I usually go shopping in my lonesome, I was in no mood to shop for more

With Star as my companion this time around, I felt a little excited to shop. We don’t actually have any particular thing in mind. We just wanted to look around for stuffs that’s on sale and up for grabs. I planned of buying one pair of shoe that I could use daily at work. I ended up without one though, haha! But I was able to purchase a few tops and one sleek feminine jacket that’s so appropriate for the climate down here of late. The frequent downpours make me shiver a lot at work.

As my legs could no longer endure the long period of walking around the mall, Star and I decided to go for a chill at one coffee house. We opted for iced frappe and panini.

In between slurps, we were able to talk about various things in life. I have often spoke of her at Lainy’s Musings. She’s a person who’s been through a lot in life and I will continue to admire her wisdom.
