We knew each other since we were 12 years old. We became good friends and real buddies for more than a decade. Everything seemed to have been forgotten because of one petty and trivial misunderstanding. It drifted us apart. Two years had past and I really thought I had to forget about the beautiful friendship that we once had.

I was on the verge of hopelessness.
Little did I know that while some bloggers parted ways through Facebook of late, my case is the exact opposite. My friend and I were able to patch things up through Facebook. Apologies were asked and accepted. We were able to revive the friendship that we once shared for many years.
Thanks to the social networking site such as Facebook. It did not only connect me to long lost friends, it has also kept me grounded. Hatred and pride must never reside in one’s heart.

I agree Lainy. I can say the same thing about my friend that I hadn't seen in over a decade, but because of FB, we've connected again. This was after we first met in 1990 when playing on the same baseball team. Of course, you're case is different in that there wasn't no misunderstanding of any kind.
It's always great to read about stories such as this. Thanks for sharing, and glad to hear about this!

Oo Sis. Dili man kaayo ko tig gamit sa FB kay kulang ko sa oras. If there's one benefit that I could say about social networking sites, it would be reconnecting with long lost friends and keeping open line communication with family and friends. Naa pud syay disadvantages but I think it would be better to dwell on the pros rather than the cons.

Hey David! It's nice to hear stories like yours and mine.If we know how to use these social networking sites to our advantage, in the end we will be the only ones too that would be reaping the benefits.
Cheers!

Yes Jenn. I have to admit I still have to learn a lot of FB features and applications. I am a little behind because of my lack of time to learn the ropes. But it's OK. In time, I will have to learn them.
Aptly said! Life is short to be wasted on crap. We better make the most out of it and enjoy to the hilt!
May you enjoy the rest of the week!

Yes, thru FB things have been patched up smoothly. You’re right laine, it was just a petty misunderstanding which took years to be realized. Never did I expected it would take this long, probably because of pride anyway. But somehow, we know in our hearts that there is forgiveness, a matter of learning and acceptance of a true nature of deep friendship moulded and tested thru time…luv yah!
