I have learned the art of correspondence since I was in Kindergarten. Would you believe a 5-year old kid was capable of exchanging mails? My cousin and I have learned to keep in touch via letters when they’ve transferred residence. I believe that was the beginning when I learned to appreciate the art of writing.
The love for correspondence didn’t stopped there. Snail mail was the only way to keep in touch with friends. That was also the time when I hoarded quite a handful of stationaries. I prefer to write down on a piece of Stationery. I just loved the smell and the beautiful designs that come along with the piece of paper. I still have my own collections of stationaries intact until this very day.
I find it amusing to reminisce and look back how I would frequent the mall’s school supplies at lunch time when I was still in High School just to keep my stationary collection updated. I wonder where I got the money for the purchases, LOL!
