Topping the list of baby names are Emily and Jacob. These are the most popular names in the world today according to the Social Security Administration. Emily tops for the twelfth year in a row! There must really be something about Emily, hehe!
On the other hand, this is the 9th time that Jacob topped the list. Biblical names as well are very appealing. Among boys, biblical names dominate such as Michael, Joshua, and Matthew.
For girls’ names, the following made it to the top 10:
  1. Emily
  2. Isabella
  3. Emma
  4. Ava
  5. Madison
  6. Sophia
  7. Olivia
  8. Abigail
  9. Hannah
  10. Elizabeth

The following list complete the famous boys’ names:

  1. Jacob
  2. Michael

  7. Christopher
